Since 1997, before the game studio Deep Shadows was founded, leading programmers Roman Lut and Sergey Zabaryansky worked together developing the Vital Engine.
In 1999 they worked at GSC Game World on the 3D Action game Codename: Outbreak. The game was based on the first version of the Vital Engine and was published world-wide by Virgin Interactive.
Having successfully finished this project they founded Deep Shadows and developed the new RPG/Action title Boiling Point: Road to Hell which was based on Vital Engine 2.
In October 2003 the world-wide publishing contract with ATARI was signed; in Russia and the CIS countries the game was published in spring 2005 by the Russobit-M.
The company?s primary objectives are the development of unique projects and the creation of large realistic worlds. Currently the company is working on the next iteration of Boiling Point and the new project Precursors. The company employs over thirty specialists and is open for co-operation in the game industry field. |
