JH [jhattingh at ananzi dot co dot za] [2007-01-12 17:02:49] Despite what critics have to say about the bugs and other issues, I personally found Boiling Point an excellent game to play. After completing the game, there was not any other game that could give me the same satisfaction and I had to play BP over again. Therefor, I can not wait for the 2nd BP to be released. The game gave the player the freedom to choose and I consider the combination of the different game types mixed with the storyline and melue really creative and innovative. Hope we will see a lot more of these in future.
PS. Please consider PSX / Console gaming in the development of similar games.

Eric Ellefson [ericellefson at sbcglobal dot net] [2006-08-18 23:19:30] I liked Boiling Point alot, it was a diffent kind of shooter, a smart shooter. I think there is great potential for the sequel with a few suggestions. 1) A little smaller map that is easier to travel around. 2)When zooming in on a target with your rifle it should come up to your face where your looking directly down the Iron sight/scope (i.e Call of Duty, Ghost Recon: AW, Brothers in Arms). 3) Smarter enemy A.I ( they were good though in the first BP) 4)less factions. 5) Lose Atari. That being said I do look foward to the sequel any idea of a possible release date?
Rune Ingebretsen [ringebri at broadpark dot no] [2006-08-09 23:45:11] I'm loving the game boiling point road to hell.
I have played it 5 times and i can't get enough of it i want MORE.
What i'm missing is scopes for the guns day/NIGHT.
More diffrent guns in addition to the guns allready in the game.
I would love it if the guns was possible to customize.
JULIAN [ELDORADOV8 at GMAIL dot COM] [2006-06-26 13:12:59] I hopefully expect you guys, give even more realistic options to the new characters, something like needs to go to the toilet or W.C.
exelent game!!
Unjal [muleasdf at yahoo dot com] [2006-06-08 17:19:59] Please please please make hills this time. Boiling point had no hills except for the one's you couldn't climb. Overall I felt I was in a box!
Also consider a fast travel option, or make the environment less bland.
Don't forgot to ignore Atari as much as possible.
What about BP 1 ? [del65 at free dot fr] [2006-05-04 11:57:43] Are you planning to release a new patch and modding tools for boiling point 1, or is this just a dream for your hundred of players/fans ?
BMPY316 [bmpy316 at hotmail dot fr] [2006-04-12 05:48:14] Boiling Point is a very good game.
Firstly, I prevent you that i'm French and I've got a poor "english speaking".
I think I have a good experience in all games type (RPG FPS...) if I have to give U some hints for your games, it?s just less bugs and more updates, and a better look for slow CPU.
So, the game's loading are very good, the map is very big, and whatever some problem with my notebooks, Im happy to have bought this game ! Thanx 4 all this team !
I have a core duo mobile centrino 1,66Ghz x2, 1go DDR, ATI X1400, and I can see the game is slow and the gfx are in a low level !!! How can I have better performance to play with a good gfx? How to setup my game ?
F4LL0UT [fallout at players-mind dot de] [2006-03-24 11:58:14] Now seriously, I'm a little pis... uh, you know... anyway: I bought Boiling Point at the Release. BP was really great fun but when I heard that there were Patches in developement I lost the motivation to play. With version 2.0 I was satisfied but you guys announced another patch. I knew that my savegames wouldn't work and that my version of the game was not the true BP-Experience you dreamt of. Now the game is almost a year old and you guys havn't released any EU or US patches for months. Instead I know that you're working on the sequel and Precursors (or is it the same?). Anyway I seriously feel pissed: I paid for the game but instead of fixing it you started developing another. This means that I must pay againg 50 bucks and had really too little fun with BP1. You fooled us! If there's one thing I can tell, it's that I'm not gonna buy the sequel if my favorite magazine will not give it a besser grade than the 1st Boiling Point. You see: I liked BP but knowing that it wasn't complete I just could not enjoy it. I hope that in future you will not announce patches anymore. It seriously sucks if they do not even get released (and I also hope that you understand my "harsh" way of expressing my opinion).
Martin Uhr [martinuhr at gmx dot net] [2006-03-16 10:53:46] Normally i really love russians...but i really impressed by the great work BPI, a solid russian work!!!...the sequel will be surely explode like the vulcanoe klutschewskaya Sopka in Kamtchatka...:-)...
Do you best...for russia and for us the players, everywhere in the world...
Gab73 [gaborkaracsonyi at web dot de] [2006-03-08 06:07:05] Great news. We need more FPS/RPG titles like this!
BTW, will it be ported to consoles this time?
steve [qwerty335 at hotmail dot com] [2006-03-07 10:34:47] boiling point is a very unappreciated game. i loved the game despite the average reviews i think many reviewers were turned off because of the bugs and glitches but once you update the game runs smooth the next game will be a hit i know it.
ps u guys rock, make the game kick valve off there high horse
Eric [payasoplas at gmail dot com] [2006-03-03 19:32:25] Hope to se the first screenshots soon!!!
And don't forget to make Boiling Point 2 a little more accesible for theones like me who have a 486!!
Zach [Cowflab at gmail dot com] [2006-03-02 15:34:57] Glad to hear a sequel is in development, The original came from seemingly nowhere and had really shocked me in terms of the possibilities a game like this offers! I just couldnt play through it though with the bugs and that not finished feel of it (driving drove me crazy, and the AI needed some work)! Looking foward to the new one though, ill definalty put some money aside for it!!!
Thanks
Lasstmichdurch [xyzxyz at snowboard dot ch] [2006-02-20 06:21:48] Great News...but until then with a SDK some modding could be done with the first one...to keep the spirit alive...
Jordie [rubens at westhouses8f dot fsnet dot co dot uk] [2006-02-16 11:51:50] Wow this is amazing news! I love Boiling Point! Its the closest thing to the old classic Trespasser. When will there be screen shots? Videos? Will it be Direct x 10? lol
Thanks Deep Shadows, I look forward to further news.
TallyHO [TallyHo357 at hotmail dot com] [2006-02-16 07:07:45] hi guys,i'm 38 despite the bugs! I loved your game:) Boiling Point is the only game trying to push the fps rpg genre since system shock 2 and dues ex, note dues ex 2 that was a pants console no brainer, its also good to see our hardware being pushed too so we can move to the next level of world creaton instead of recycling the same old rubbish with better graphics
please keep it up u might have to look for a new publisher though;) better still publish it yourself and let us download it :) then we won't have to put up with decrypting huge .cab files
Good luck guys
may your code always be clean and bug free
quick tip get a better Q&A team this time around
Per Ahrnbom [per dot ahrnbom at telia dot com] [2006-02-16 06:35:08] Dear Friends!
I feel really good to read that so many people understand how awesome good this game is. I will be 60 years old this summer and is now at the end of F.E.A.R. - and it´s boooring...
Aleksander [games-dungeon at yahoo dot com] [2006-02-09 21:23:28] Well, I think I'll buy this game when BP1 will be fully patched. I've spent money on It, why I've to pay more for a sequel when I can't fully enjoy the first episode? Tell me a reason, please...
ShadowMoses [shadowmoses at xenus-hq dot net] [2006-02-08 14:47:39] Good news indeed.

elyorch [eol at hotmail dot com] [2006-02-05 07:58:38] It's good news!! But... does it mean you won't release more patches for Boiling Point 1?
Chris Stathopoulos [maldy119 at pathfinder dot gr] [2006-02-05 07:47:59] Greetings from Athens, Greece. There are no words to describe how happy I was when I read the fantastic news about the sequel to the games.I'm in love with you people!
Per Ahrnbom [per dot ahrnbom at telia dot com] [2006-02-04 13:23:36] CONGRATULATIONS !
Boiling point is one of the best games ever !
In the same league as Outcast, System Shock 2, Deus EX and No one liver forever.
The combination of FPS, RPG, Adventure is outstanding.
I just played it through and really waiting the next game in the same fashion
F4LCON [raphael-m at web dot de] [2006-02-04 10:56:49] I think it's a very good idea to do a new try!
At first Boiling Point seemed to be the perfect game for me, but later .... I hope the sequel will be a big achievement, but my advice: Don't take too much time for it (stalker) ;-)!

Richard [logscalers at yahoo dot com] [2006-02-04 03:01:43] Bring on the sequel to my all-time favorite game, please!
Boiling Point makes farcry and halflife 2 look like pretenders. I love the non-scripted and wide open opportunities in BP. You have made the game of the century in my opinion. Thank you!
Bangy [bangyorded at hotmail dot com] [2006-02-03 19:56:50] With the announcement of BP2 will you guys still continue work on Precursors?
Even though I greatly enjoyed xenus/BP the idea of precursors sounds much more interesting.
Gulla [gulla1982 at hotmail dot com] [2006-02-03 18:28:22] Tis is great you are starting on another boiling point. its a really fun game only thing im hoping for in the second one is a xbox 360 release
Mike Lusson [Mikelusson at aol dot com] [2006-02-03 17:04:09] Hi Guys,

Hope you make a good job and a have fun.
Bey..Mike
Pete Matthews [xpa2800 at blueyonder dot co dot uk] [2006-02-03 14:19:29] Great but you must not make it a mess like the first game. This is a second attempt at a great idea so lets not dissapoint this time.
AnthraX [meow at meow dot com] [2006-02-03 13:42:03] Amazing!
I'm looking forward to play the sequel of this Game (:
I really love the idea behind that game, although the realization of "BP: Road To Hell" was not good.
So far.. have fun developing! ;)
Louis [zazoo_85 at hotmail dot com] [2006-02-03 11:58:27] Great!! But when the next patch for Boiling point will be released?
Chris [LCPD at gmx dot at] [2006-02-03 10:28:23] Great news guys!
